Payee Type: Person (i.e. not a business)
Payee Name: Your Name (as recorded on you GB Bank savings account)
Sort Code: 04-07-02
Account Number: Your GB Bank Savings Account Number
Where do I find my GB Bank Savings Account Number?
Your account number is available to access in two places:
- The "welcome" email you received when you opened your account
- By logging into your customer portal and accessing the accounts tab

What will I see when my money has been deposited?
Your Linked Current Account will show the amount you have deposited into your GB Bank Savings Account, alongside a reference to 'ClearBank'. This is nothing to worry about - ClearBank are one of our partners.
Your account balance will be updated instantly whenever you make a deposit into your GB Bank savings account, which will give you peace of mind that your money has been safely deposited to the correct account.
Can I make a small "test" deposit first?
Absolutely, and this is something we would recommend all customers do initially, to provide peace of mind.
Whenever you make a deposit into a GB Bank savings account, you will immediately receive a text message from us confirming that your deposit has been credited to your account.
If you are logged into your GB Bank Customer Portal, you will also see your balance updated reflected instantly. By making an initial small deposit - we suggest £1 - both our customers and their linked current account providers can be assured that funds have been transferred to the correct account.
Once you are happy that you initial small deposit has landed safely in your GB Bank savings account, you can confidently proceed with additional deposits.
